Grapes Harvest Tour

The viticulture is the business card of our country. The vine area constitutes about 107 000 hectares. The Republic of Moldova is among the top ten wine producers. Since ancient times, Moldovan people keeps a beautiful tradition that of celebrating the harvest of grapes and produce the so called sweet wine „Tulburel” - the wine drawn into the first winepress.

This process is done by every Moldovan family in whose household the vines are grown. In Autumn, the householder yards are small factories to produce wine.

each villager has a cellar where the wine is kept in barrels for about one year. This wine is used for different occasions such as birthdays, wedding parties, anniversary, or simply when we have guests. The taste of „Tulburel” wine is a special moment. being a very hospitable people, any tourist who enter the house is served with delicious food and a glass of wine.

Day 1:

Transfer from the airport to the hotel. In the evening, the dinner in the restaurant „La Taifas”, a totally traditional style including a folk program.

Day 2:

Transfer from the airport to the hotel. The tour of Chișinău City: Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, the Metropolitan Cathedral „Nativity of the Lord”, the Parliament, the Circus, the Opera and Ballet National Theatre „Maria Bieșu”, the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova, the Railway Station, the monument „ The Train of Pain”, the National Square, the Arch of Triumph, the monument Ștefan cel Mare, the Public Garden, the Classics Alley, etc.

Day 3:

The visit of the pheasants loft in the village Talmaza, the wineries Gradinita, Talmaza, Purcari, Crocmaz, Etcetera. At Etcetera winery, during the event „Harvest" different activities such as the gathering of grapes will be organized under the guidance of winemakers, pie breaks with Rose in the middle of vineyards, parties around the grilled food from the chef of the winery. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste a wide range of wines and become familiar with its manufacturing process.

Day 4:

Transfer to the airport in Chisinau for the trip back home.
