City Break In 2 Cities: Chișinău & Lași Tour

Chișinău City and Iași City, are two sister cities because throughout history both were attested as the capital city of Moldova. Chișinău is nowadays the capital city of the Republic of Moldova but Iași was the capital city of Moldova during the second reign of Alexandru Lăpușneanu.

Besides the fact that these two wonderful cities are sisters, they both were and still are capital cities and they both have an important link - they celebrate the day of the city on 14 October - a very important religious holiday.

Day 1: Arrival

Transfer from the airport to the hotel. In the evening, the dinner in the restaurant "La Taifas", a totally traditional style including a folk program.

Day 2: Chișinău City

The tour of Chișinău City: Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, the Metropolitan Cathedral "Nativity of the Lord”, the Parliament, the Circus, the Opera, and Ballet National Theatre "Maria Bieșu", the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova, the Railway Station, the monument "The Train of Pain", the National Square, the Arch of Triumph, the monument Ștefan cel Mare, the Public Garden, the Classics Alley, etc.

Day 3: Iași City

The tour of Iași city: The Palace of Culture, the Church “Sf. Nicolae Domnesc”, Dosoftei Home, the Monastery "Sfinții Trei Ierarhi”, the Moldovan and Bucovina Metropolitan Church, the Palace Roznovanu, the National Theatre "Vasile Alexandri”, the Park Copou with the linden tree and the statue of Mihai Eminescu, the hut of Ion Creangă, the Museum of Mihail Kogâlniceanu, Vasile Pogor home, the Museum "Alexandru Ioan Cuza”

Day 4: Departure

Transfer to the airport in Chisinau for the trip back home.
